Nicole Dambro and "Groupers" Wins Big at Film Invasion LA


Nicole Dambro wins "Best Actress in a Lead Role" for her role as Meg in "Groupers" at Film Invasion LA

Groupers continues to win over indie film festivals, winning big this past weekend at Film Invasion LA's 2019 Film Festival.

Besides taking home the grand jury prize of "Best Feature", Groupers also won "Best Director: Feature Film" for Anderson Cowan, "Best Actor in a Supporting Role" for

, and "Best Actress in a Lead Role" for Nicole Dambro.

Peter Koros, a critic from the Cinequest film festival where Groupers first premiered, describes Groupers as "...a rare, highly original, and super-charged comedy that will keep you guessing and contemplating the provocative, yet crucial themes at its essence."

This is Nicole Dambro's first award in the Lead Actress category.
